Ensuring Logo (3D Component) Carves Correctly In Dish Bottom – File Suggestions for Facebook User

In this video I will discuss one method on how to carve a component/3d model proud in the bottom of a dish/bowl.

This video came about when Chad from “On the Rocks Wood & Craft”: https://ontherockswood.com/ asked a Facebook Group for some insights on how to ensure a logo he was trying to place in the bottom of a bowl/dish (ashtray) could be carved proud of the bottom of a dish.

There are multiple ways that this can be done. Several helpful people were giving him good suggestions. That is what I enjoy about this Maker/CNC Community. So many people willing to help.

Chad mentioned that he was new to Aspire so during reading of the responses I thought Chad may not fully understand the suggestions that were being made and I offered to help Chad with how I would accomplish what he was trying to achieve. Chad indicated he would appreciate the help and insights.

I got his agreement that I could video how I would approach his project and share with others that may be having similar challenges regarding how to use models or model components carve proud in the bottom of a dish/bowl.
