Making a Mitered Picture on Your CNC with vCarve using the Moulding Toolpath I Step-by-Step
This is the 4th video in a series on making picture frames, with a CNC and without a CNC. This video is focused on how to use the molded toolpath to make mitered picture frames on the CNC – so they will not only be decorative but have perfect 45° miters that you can then glue up for a very cool picture frame.
In my next video, I will take this same technique and demonstrate how you can design a picture frame using the moulded toolpath out of a solid piece of wood and avoid the miter glue-up.
The first 4 videos are all focused on using the CNC – future videos will be focused on how to make frames without the CNC.
